The NSW DPI– Farms of the Future program has installed a range of commercially available connectivity solutions and field sensor technology on three properties to test and demonstrate the benefits that can be delivered to farming via agtech and IoT.

Angullong is run by James Crossing. The business consists of wine grape and cattle enterprises. The property is 2,000 hectares in size and is situated in hilly terrain near Blayney NSW.
Outcomes sought include:
- in crop sensors such as soil probes and vine growth sensors
- video surveillance
- improved connectivity across the property,
- weather and water monitoring
- cattle weight
It was hoped that these may improve labour efficiency and improved management decisions.
