South Australian producers are now experiencing cutting edge technology at the Loxton AgTech demonstration farm, which combines a business incubator to support the growth and success of primary producer businesses with on-farm AgTech demonstrations.
ThincLab Loxton is located in PIRSA’s state of the art Loxton Research Centre and is where entrepreneurs, companies, agribusiness, associations and members of the community can develop innovations and business models with a view to rapid acceleration to meet market needs.
It aims to promote entrepreneurial thinking and high impact innovation in this region.
Primary production in the Riverland and Murraylands is dominated by horticulture, viticulture, and agriculture, tree fruit and nut, grape growing, berry and vegetable growing, grain growing, and wool production.
The Loxton demonstration farm aims to display the application and performance of AgTech products for Riverland and Murraylands production systems.
